Polaris Portable Lighting Systems

Friars range of portable LED autonomous lighting powered from internal batteries are the perfect choice for temporary or semi-permanent marking of landing strips or other objectives at airports and heliports. Lights are lightweight, durable, waterproof and has been developed for fast deployment in locations where it is difficult to install traditional mains powered lights, they can be easily moved and mounted on different surfaces.

Our lights can be controlled using the following applications.

• Local, from the buttons on the front panel of the lights
• Remote control by radio to turn the lights ON/OFF, to change the brightness, to switch between visible and invisible (IR) light from up to 10km range.
• PC application - lights are visible on a map with GPS coordinates.
